Country Heart Blends

So I went to Volant yesterday and was thrilled to see an empty counter!!! Thanks Volant customers you're the greatest! Have no fear though the counter got filled with lots of "Sweet Treats".

This week we created a special brownie just for that peanutbutter lover. A chocolate brownie topped with peanuts and popcorn tossed in melted marshmallows. This week a "peanutbutter lover's brownie" A peanutbutter chunk brownie with peanutbutter buttercream icing sprinkled with crushed peanuts. We also made some cakes that will be perfect for Dad a coconut cake, cherry chocolate cake, and apple pie cake. There are lots of fresh cookies and whoopie pies as well as monkey bread.  Head over to Miss Scarlett's in Volant to get Dad his favorite Country Heart Blend Sweet Treat for Father's Day.

Next Saturday, June 25th is Volant's Independence Festival from 10:00 - 7:00p.m. We will have red,white, and blue star cookies, more unique brownie recipes, whoopie pies, monkey bread, and many more "Sweet Treats" to celebrate. Miss Scarlett's Gift Parlor (in addition to our yummy treats)will have face painting. There will be music in town, hulahoop and limbo contest, apple pie contest, colonial demonstrations, and much more. Sounds like a day of fun.
